OUR SEVEN EVENT SPACES

 

THE COURTYARD

A lush open courtyard lined with ten stately sycamore trees and surrounded by the rolling hills of the Wisconsin countryside. Topped with an expansive fire pit with natural boulder seating creating a warm and inviting gathering spot as the sun sets across the farm.

As evening falls, café lights strung between the trees cast a soft glow over long dinner tables, creating an unforgettable sunset setting where guests dine surrounded by the beauty of the land and the quiet majesty of the barn. Perfect for ceremonies, outdoor dinners, or cocktail hours, the Courtyard captures the timeless charm and natural elegance that define Farm 1849.

THE PERGOLA

Standing on the footprint of a historic barn that once graced the property, the Pergola is a stunning structure handcrafted from Oregon lumber beams.  Cafe string lighting and outdoor ceiling fans create a comfortable and romantic atmosphere, while zoned Sonos speakers fill the space with your custom playlist. Two wooden bars with shelving make beverage service effortless, and modern wrought iron tables and bistro-style chairs offer seating for up to 70 guests. The Pergola’s vantage point provides sweeping, unobstructed views of the rolling hills, giving you the feeling of being completely tucked away in nature — a breathtaking backdrop   for any event.

THE PATIO

Shaded by the deck above, the Lower Level Patio offers a cozy, intimate gathering space that immediately welcomes guests as they arrive along the path from the parking area. Its inviting ambiance makes it perfect for a warm welcome, pre-dinner cocktails, or a smaller, intimate dinner. With soft lighting and comfortable seating, this hidden gem of the property provides a charming first impression and a serene spot for guests to relax and connect before the main celebration begins.

GATHERING SPACE

This cozy and inviting space features beautiful wood columns and beams, creating a warm, rustic ambiance that complements the natural beauty of the property. Custom windows frame sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, bringing the outdoors in and filling the space with light.

Designed for both comfort and function, the Gathering Space includes dimmable lighting, zoned Sonos speakers, and cozy seating areas, perfect for cocktail hours, intimate dinners, or mingling. Two wooden bars with shelving provide an elegant display for beverages and glassware. Conveniently located bathrooms add ease for guests, and the space flows seamlessly onto the Lower Level Patio, offering additional flexibility for gatherings or pre-dinner reception.

 

THE LOFT

The Loft is a spacious and airy gathering space framed by the skeleton of the original barn, showcasing the property’s historic character.. Five dimmable wrought iron wheel chandeliers illuminate the ceiling, while subtle up-and-down lighting outlines the perimeter, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that adapts beautifully from day to night.

Seven doors and large ceiling fans provide excellent airflow and connect the space to the surrounding landscape, offering panoramic views of the rolling hills and majestic barn exterior. The Loft also opens directly onto the Grand Deck, extending the space outdoors and providing a breathtaking vantage point for cocktails or mingling.

This versatile space is ideal for dinner receptions, large-format cocktail parties, dancing, and even ceremonies, providing a grand yet intimate setting where guests can gather, celebrate, and enjoy the beauty of Farm 1849 from every angle.

THE GRAND DECK

Spanning 80’ x 16’, the Grand Deck offers one of the most breathtaking vantage points on the property. Overlooking the south-facing landscape, guests are treated to views of 20 acres of lush fields, the winding pathway from the parking area to the barn, and distant tree-topped hills that stretch into the horizon.

Six whiskey barrel tables provide casual gathering spots for guests to enjoy a cocktail while soaking in the scenery. Dimmed gooseneck lighting casts a gentle glow, creating the perfect ambiance to enjoy the evening while taking in the star-filled sky above. The Grand Deck seamlessly extends the Loft outdoors, offering a versatile, unforgettable space for mingling, relaxing, or simply appreciating the beauty of Farm 1849.
